Terms of service.

The deal. Use Finds to keep the things you find. Don’t use it to keep things you stole. We do our best to make it work; you do your best not to break it. Either of us can leave whenever.

These terms are an agreement between you and Finds (“we,” “us”) governing your use of nicefinds.app and the Finds mobile app. By creating an account or using Finds, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Finds, and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Finds on behalf of an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for the activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. One human per Solo plan. A Crew tops out at five people from one household, group of friends, or excellent-taste polycule.

Your content

You keep ownership of the Finds you create. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, enrich, and back up your content solely so the app can do its job — show it to you and the Crew you choose, and improve reliability. We claim nothing beyond that. We don’t use your content to train AI models, and we don’t make it public unless you explicitly share a Find via a public link.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use Finds for anything illegal, abusive, or designed to harm someone.
• Don’t hammer the API or try to overload the service.
• Don’t impersonate other people or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Don’t attempt to access, scrape, or extract other users’ libraries.
• Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to keep.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Stripe (on the web) or the App Store (on iOS) and auto-renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, and we don’t pro-rate partial periods. We offer refunds within 14 days of a charge — just reply to your receipt. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple’s refund process. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice for the next billing period.

AI accuracy

Finds uses AI to enrich the things you save, and AI isn’t perfect. Treat enriched fields — ingredients, hours, addresses, summaries — as a helpful starting point, not gospel. If a recipe says “350°F” and the model writes “350°C,” check the source. We’re not liable for kitchen fires.

Service “as is”

Finds is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We’re a small team; we’ll occasionally have outages and bugs. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that enrichment will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finds will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using Finds and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or if we’re required to by law. You can export your Finds before you go.

Changes

We’ll update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 30 days ahead, and the date above will change. Continuing to use Finds after that means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to a different venue.
